| Thomas Marlowe, M.D., previously a member of a multi-specialty physician practice in Indianapolis, moved to Charlotte to open the Weight Loss Institute, and he continues to practice bariatric medicine. He graduated cum laude in 1995 from the Ivy League’s Dartmouth College and in 1999 from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the University of Massachusetts and his residency in Family Medicine at Indiana University. Dr. Marlowe is a well-respected member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians, the American Association of Family Physicians, and the North Carolina Association of Family Physicians. He ranked in the top 10% in his board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine and he takes yearly maintenance-of-certification exams to provide the most up-to-date care for his patients. He practices only Bariatric Medicine at the Weight Loss Institute. |
